UPDATED AUGUST 23, 2021
Perley
is now a car manufacturer 39 NH, Ellen Goulding his wife 32 NY, and they have
Nellie 13 NH and Lula 5 NY. He , Ellen and Nellie were here in Guilford in
1860. Can’t figure Lula out though. Perley and Ellen will be here in 1880 but
alone. Lula might belong to some kinfolks of Ellen’s back in New York. He is
Perley 3rd, son of Perley Putnam (2314) and Mary Cole. He was born in Franconia
February 8, 1831. They were in nearby Guilford in 1860 and are here in 1880. I

Charles E. 11 NH. He is the son of Gideon Putnam and Sarah Barnes. He was in
Nashua in 1860 married to Lorinda French. She died August 17, 1861, and he
married Elizabeth in December 1862. She died November 8, 1876, and in 1880 he
is back in Nashua with a new wife, Jennie Hicks. He married Jennie Hicks in
Nashua on July 9, 1877. Jennie will be his last wife, and he will die in
Guilford, New Hampshire December 19, 1880.
He is a

Corbin 63 CT and her daughter Persis 25 CT. Permelia
is Clara’s mommy (so stated in the 1880). He was born here, a son of Jacob
Putnam (1690) and Lucy Brooks. They will still be here in 1900 and 1910.
She is
13 PA and lives with George W. Condey or Conley 49 NH
and his wife Salina 44 VT. Harriet is a daughter of George Thayer Putnam and
Rebecca Rider. They were from Vermont to New York and in Corydon, McKean County
Pennsylvania in 1860. George died there and she is also listed with her mother
Rebecca in Pine Grove, Warren County Pennsylvania now. Salina is Hattie’s
father’s sister.

He is a
bookkeeper 37 NH, Mary J. 37 NH and there is a Clarence Locke 16 NH living with

right and that one is not in Sullivan County now.
She is
35 NH and has her daughter Clara 7 NH with her. They live with Lewis Bowles 49
NH, a farmer. I wonder if she was married to Alonzo Putnam who was single in
Lancaster in 1860. Age is right, and the two towns are only 11 miles apart. She
and Clara will still be here with Lewis in 1880. Rand Putnam found a marriage
record of Alonzo Putnam marrying Emily Hurlburt here, so she is Alonzo’s widow.

that he is the son of Amos Putnam and Amy Bragg. He is also shown back in
Thetford, Orange County, Vermont. He will marry Georgia Hanson in Concord, NH
in 1882. They will be in Concord in the 1900.
He is
